Panthers Reduce NHL Roster, Send 4 to Springfield
Springfield, MA – The Springfield Thunderbirds roster grew on Thursday, as Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations Dale Tallon announced that the Panthers have reduced their training camp roster to 27 players.
The Panthers assigned four players to their American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield: forwards Connor Brickley, Dryden Hunt and Kyle Rau and defenseman MacKenzie Weegar.
Additionally, forward Logan Shaw, defenseman Jakub Kindl and goaltender Reto Berra have been placed on waivers and upon clearing waivers will report to the Thunderbirds.
Opening Night packs are available, courtesy of Dunkin’ Donuts, for the first regular season home game in Thunderbirds history. Packages start at $75 and feature two Opening Night tickets, four ticket vouchers, a commemorative puck, and a $5 Dunkin’ Donuts gift card.
