Your T-Birds Fix Each Summer!
Established in 2023, the Thunderbirds Community Caravan, with support from MassMutual, has provided fans in the community with a unique off-season event sure to keep the whole family entertained. From balloon artists and face painters to yard games and activities, there is something for everyone. Plus, of course, hang out with Boomer and walk on the T-Birds King Gray team bus!
The 2026 edition of the T-Birds Community Caravan began on Saturday, June 20 at Sonny's Place in Somers, Connecticut. It featured a food drive, with donations benefiting the Enfield Food Shelf! Then we brought the Caravan to home soil on Friday, July 24 for a fun day at The Landing, right outside the MassMutual Center!
On July 31, we teamed up with the Basketball Hall of Fame to close July with a flourish - kids in T-Birds gear got the opportunity to tour the Hall of Fame Museum for free!
Just one more Caravan date remains - Saturday, August 22 in Westfield!

Saturday, August 22 @ Amelia Park Arena, Westfield (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.): In conjunction with T-Birds Street Hockey Tournament; canned food & nonperishable drive benefiting Westfield Food Pantry, plus the T-Birds bus, balloon artists, face painters, games and more fun!
