ST. LOUIS, MO - St. Louis Blues General Manager Alexander Steen announced today that the Blues have assigned six players to their AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds, including forwards Juraj Pekarcik, Simon Robertsson, and Jakub Stancl, along with defensemen Michael Buchinger and Lukas Fischer, and goaltender Parker Gahagen. 

The T-Birds open training camp this week, with preseason exhibition games slated for Friday in Springfield and Saturday in Providence, each against the Bruins. Both preseason games will feature a 7:05 p.m. puck drop.
