Blues Assign F Zach Dean to T-Birds

ST. LOUIS, MO - St. Louis Blues General Manager Alexander Steen announced that the Blues have assigned forward Zach Dean to their AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds. 

Dean, 23, has dressed in three games for the Blues this season, serving four penalty minutes.  Last season, the Grande Prairie, Alberta native posted 14 points (four goals, 10 assists) and 28 penalty minutes in 36 regular-season games with the Thunderbirds.  Overall, Dean has totaled 32 points (14 goals, 18 assists) and 54 penalty minutes in 96 career AHL regular-season games.
