PANTHERS REASSIGN F BAJKOV TO SPRINGFIELD
SUNRISE, Fla. - The Florida Panthers announced that the club has reassigned forward Patrick Bajkov to the Springfield Thunderbirds from the ECHL's Florida Everblades.
The 21-year-old Bajkov is in his first professional season after a five-season junior career with the WHL's Everett Silvertips. In 17 games with Springfield, Bajkov has tallied three goals and two assists for five points and a +2 rating. In 15 games with the Everblades, Bajkov has tallied three goals and four assists for seven points and a +1 rating.
Prior to turning pro, Bajkov registered 100 points in his final junior season in Everett, scoring 33 goals and adding 67 assists in 72 games last season. He was signed as a free agent by the Florida Panthers in March of 2018.
The Thunderbirds are back on the ice on Friday night in Hartford for a 7:15 p.m. puck drop against the Hartford Wolf Pack.
