Panthers Reduce Training Camp Roster to 29
SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today the club’s roster has been reduced to 29 players.
Forward Anthony Greco, defenseman Julian Melchiori and goaltender Michael Hutchinson have been loaned to Florida’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds and are expected to attend Springfield’s training camp.
The Thunderbirds' regular season opens on Saturday, October 6 in Wilkes-Barre for a 7:05 p.m. tilt with the Penguins. Springfield then returns home for Opening Night presented by MGM Springfield on Saturday, October 13 against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Prior to the 7:05 p.m. puck drop, the team will host a Pregame Block Party presented by Community Bank at the MGM Springfield outdoor plaza. Festivities will include live music by the band Unusually Normal, as well as a red carpet introduction of the Thunderbirds players. The party begins at 3:30 p.m. For tickets, click here.
