Panthers/Thunderbirds Player Tracker - Summer 2019
Updated: August 23, 2019 - 5:00 p.m.
With NHL and AHL free agency underway, this tracker is your one-stop shop to answer the question: who will be back in the Panthers/T-Birds organizations for the 2019-20 season, and who has moved on?
Below is a list of players who either completed the 2018-19 campaign with the Panthers/Thunderbirds organization or signed with the Panthers after the conclusion of the 2018-19 regular season.
Before getting started, keep in mind AHL rosters have the potential to change considerably from year to year. Last season, the Thunderbirds dressed more than 20 players who did not play for Springfield in 2017-18.
Bear in mind that many of the players in the “Signed for 2019-20” category are signed by the Florida Panthers (NHL) and not specifically Springfield. They will have a chance to make the big club in training camp. In addition, there are players on this list that may not stay with the Thunderbirds after training camp. Players can be assigned to the ECHL, European teams, or reassigned to their junior club in some cases.
*All other transactions involving AHL contracts will be displayed at the bottom of this tracker as announcements become official.
