T-Birds to Host Bruins in Preseason Game Sept. 29
Springfield, MA -- The Springfield Thunderbirds announced on Monday that they will host the Providence Bruins in preseason action on Friday, Sept. 29 at 7:05 p.m. ET at the MassMutual Center.
Following that evening, the two teams will travel to Providence to play a second preseason game on Saturday, Sept. 30 at the Dunkin' Donuts Center at 7:05 p.m. ET.
The Thunderbirds open their second AHL season on the road against the Bruins on Saturday, Oct 7 in Providence. Springfield will open its home ice schedule on Saturday, Oct. 14 for a 7:05 p.m. ET puck drop against the division rival Hartford Wolf Pack.
Thunderbirds' full season, 22-game, and 10-game membership holders will receive tickets in their reserved seats for the preseason game on Sept. 29. Single game tickets for the preseason game and for the 2017-18 season will be available at a later date on www.SpringfieldThunderbirds.com and at the MassMutual Center box office.
