Entering his 15th professional season, the 35-year-old Wagner enters his second season with the T-Birds in 2026-27. He was named the fifth captain in T-Birds history on March 11, 2026. Wagner set career highs in 2025-26 with 24 goals, 26 assists, and 50 points over 67 regular season games. He added another seven points (2g, 5a) during Springfield's Calder Cup Playoff run.
The former Anaheim draft pick and Walpole native brings 401 games of NHL experience, including parts of five season with the Boston Bruins, including a trip to the 2019 Stanley Cup Final. Wagner tied his career highs with the Eagles in 2024-25 with 19 goals and 31 points in just 44 games.
