About Steven
Steven Smith enters his first season with the T-Birds after serving as the head equipment manager of the USHL’s Youngstown Phantoms each of the last two seasons. The native of Texas has also worked on the equipment staffs of the NAHL’s Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, Amarillo Bulls, Jamestown Rebels, and New Jersey Jr. Titans; the ECHL’s Wichita Thunder; and the Division 3 Chatham University Cougars. Smith’s teams have won a pair of championships over his career: the Phantoms hoisted the USHL’s Clark Cup in 2023, and the Titans captured the NAHL’s Robertson Cup in 2022.
